Can I have a job while I participate in one of your training programs?

The level of daily involvement varies according to our schools. During our three month School of Transformation, we are attempting to pack a lot into a short period of time, our days consequently are full of teaching and ministry activity. We encourage students planning on participating in our School of Transformation NOT to have a job.

However, our other two nine month schools, School of Discipleship and  Impartation and Ministry Apprenticeship, are focused on learning to live out the principles of Kingdom Lifestyle in our daily lives. For this reason we ENCOURAGE students to have at least part time jobs while they participate in the nine month schools. General commitment to the schools includes Prayer Room and classroom times (Tuesday-Friday 8:00am-1:00pm).

What are the exact days of international outreach?

Because of the complicated variables in summer international airline travel, we will not have final dates for outreach until 1-2 weeks into the School of Transformation. Our target range is the last week of July to the third week of August.

Are donations to students from supporters tax-deductible?

Catalyst Training School is a ministry of City Central Church, a Washington State non-profit corporation.  All donations are 100% tax deductible.

What is the outline of a typical day in one of your Training Schools?

Every day is crafted for a unique combination of teaching and application, and so every day looks different. However, here are examples of a standard day from each of our training programs:

  • Devotions
  • Class Time
  • Personal Ministry

School of Discipleship and  Impartation

Morning Sessions: 8:30AM-12:30PM

Some students will be at their various part-time jobs, others will be spending time together at the Mansion, their afternoons are theirs. Dinner is served at the Mansion in the evening.

Ministry Apprenticeship

This program looks dramatically different than the other two on a day to day. Students tend to have part-time jobs, classes at the church (depending on the week), and responsibilities to their personalized apprenticeships.
